1. Navigate to your Home page.
2. Locate the ANGEL Courses section.
3. Click on a course.
4. Click on the Communicate tab.
5. Locate the Live Chat section.
6. Click on a chat room link.
7. Notice four tabs along the top of the window that pops up.
8. Click on the Whiteboard tab.
9. Use the menu options to draw or type.
10. Click the Send button when done.

The Whiteboard allows you to interactively chat, type and draw images that multiple users can see at the same time. From within your course click on the Communicate tab and locate the Live Chat section. Click on the Whiteboard tab along the top of the window that pops up to launch the program.

A new window will appear with tools visible in the upper left corner, a color palette below the tools and a white area to the right that allows multiple users to visually interact using the tool set.

Tools all work in the white area and include a pencil to draw in the white area, The T icon allows you to type text. The bar lets you draw lines, the circle and square create those shapes and can be filled in using the fill button and the color palette. The eraser icon clears the white area.

A system status and chat window appear to the right of the white work area. Typing text in the bar beneath enters your comments into the chat window. Above this is a box which displays a list of users who are currently interacting.
