> Error Message-Session Timeout

If you get this message:

Session Timeout - your session has expired due to an extended period of inactivity. You will need to reauthenticate to access the requested information."

The first thing to do is follow the instructions. By asking you to "Reauthenticate" the system is asking you to Log Off of the system. Follow the steps below to Log Off of ANGEL.

  1. Click the Log Off icon in the power strip along the left side of the page.
  2. Next, you will get a page asking, "Do you want to logout?" Click Ok.
  3. You are now logged out. As per the directions, you can now log back in and access your course again.

    Explanation:

There are a couple of reasons why you may have gotten this error. You may have pressed the "back" button in your browser several times, instead of using ANGEL's Previous and Next buttons. You may have been reading a page for a long time, or taking a long quiz. If this is the case, you aren't moving around clicking links in ANGEL so ANGEL thinks you are gone, and therefore ends your session.

Finally one last thing you can try is to check if your computer's clock is set to the correct time. Setting your computer's clock to the correct time has been known to resolve this issue.
