> Editing Your System Settings
Quick steps:
- Click on the Preferences icon in the power strip along the left side of the page.
- Under the General User Settings section, click on the System Settings link.
- Use the text fields and drop down menus to complete these fields.
- Click the Save button when you are done.

Click on the Preferences icon in the power strip along the left side of the page.
Click on the System Settings under General User Settings. This will take you to the System Settings editor.
You can set your User Level here. The Beginner setting provides fewer menu choices and more information on item use. Advanced settings provide many more options, but fewer descriptions of what items are used for.
Under the Mail Settings section, you can enter an email address and forward your course mail to that address. Use the drop down box to select how you would like forwarded mail to be handled.
Note: You can change your Mail Settings from the Communicate tab from within a course as well.
Be sure to click the Save button when done selection options. You will be returned to your Preferences page. To return to your Home page, click the Home icon in the power strip along the left of the page.
