Quick steps:
- Navigate to your Home page.
- Locate the Toolbox section.
- Click on the Calendar link.
- Use the format options to display the calendar in a Grid or List format. It displays as in Grid by default.
- Use the View options to control the timeframe displayed on the calendar.
- Click on the Add link in the toolbar to add items to the calendar. Click the Save button when you are done.

ANGEL provides a personal calendar for your use. Go to your Home page and locate the Toolbox section. Click on the Calendar link. Events added to this calendar are labeled Personal.
The Calendar toolbar provides links for controlling the calendar view and adding items to the calendar.
Adding Items to the Calendar
Use the Add link on the toolbar to add an event to the calendar. The Calendar editor provides fields you can fill out to complete your calendar entry. Under the Event Settings section you can enter the following information:
Title: Enter a title that describes the event.
Category: Use the drop down menu to choose the appropriate type of calendar entry. Click the Other button to enter new category name.
Contact: Use this field to specify a contact for the event.
Location: Use this field to enter where the event takes place.
Notes: This field can be used for extended information about the event.
Password: you can assign a password to this entry to restrict access.
Under the Date and Time Settings section, enter the Date, Time, and Duration for the event.
Click the Save button at the bottom to return to your Calendar page. If you click Recurrence you can make the event occur at specific intervals.
Controlling the Calendar View
Hide/Show Calendar: This is available in List format only. By default, a small graphic view of the calendar will display. Use the Hide Calendar link in the toolbar to turn this display off. Clicking on any day in the graphic display will display items on the calendar for that day.
You have the option of choosing to view all, public, team or personal entries.
All: This choice displays public, team and personal entries.Public: This displays only public entries for courses and groups for which you are a member. These are made via the course calendar.
Team: This will only display team entries.
Personal: This will only display personal entries. These are made via the Home page calendar. They may also be made in the course calendar if an individual is selected instead of a group.
View: Items are displayed by day by default, but you may use the links on the menu bar to the right of View to display the calendar by day, week, month or year.
Previous/Next: These links work in conjunction with the View options Day/Week/Month/Year. Depending on what you have selected, clicking Previous or Next will take you to the next Day/Week/Month/Year.
Today: This link will reset the display of events to today's events.
Search: Allows you to search for specific keywords within the calendar entries.
To return to your Home page, click the Home icon in the power strip along the left of the page.
Note: When you access the Calendar from your Home page under the Toolbox section heading, this calendar is your Personal calendar. Additionally, there is a section entitled Today's Calendar. This display only offers a view of the current day's events. See Related Topics.
