Flash Player is a plugin for browsers that allows you to play both video and audio over the web. It allows you to view files created in Macromedia's Flash software.

You may need to download and install free Flash Player software from Macromedia (If you have already downloaded and installed Macromedia Shockwave then you may not need to download Flash Player; Flash Player is included in Shockwave.).

If you don't have Flash Player and would like it, or need a more recent version, click here to download Flash Player.

If you have Flash Player already installed on your computer, you will see a Flash animated movie below. It will automatically play. Move your cursor over different sections of the movie to interact with it.

You need to make sure that you have the version of Flash required in your VU course. Click here to test your Flash Player. A pop-up window will display the version of the Flash plug-in that you have installed.

Test your Flash Player tools at the Macromedia Flash Player test site (scroll down the page to view the Flash Player box).
